Paul Njeru holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Sanitation. With a diverse professional background spanning the ICT corporate world, Water and Sanitation sectors, governance (Justice sector), and community-driven initiatives, Paul has consistently demonstrated a commitment to creating impactful solutions that improve livelihoods across Kenya.
As the Ag. Executive Director of Young Water Professionals (YWP) Kenya, Paul is deeply passionate about empowering youth to become leaders in addressing the pressing challenges in water and sanitation. He believes that young professionals are uniquely positioned to drive innovation, leverage technology, and champion sustainable practices to improve access to these essential services.
Under Paul’s leadership, YWP Kenya focuses on fostering a skilled and collaborative network of young professionals, equipping them with the tools and opportunities needed to influence policy, conduct research, and engage with communities. His dedication lies in ensuring that the youth play a central role in shaping the water and sanitation agenda, both nationally and globally.
Paul’s work reflects a vision where the energy and creativity of young people are harnessed to build a future of equitable and sustainable development for all Kenyans. Through his efforts, he continues to inspire the next generation of leaders to innovate and advocate for impactful change in the water and sanitation sectors.
